Basically because his post was somewhat false and anyone that has read his books can answer your particular question because the author explains that very answer about his own life.

Often those that haven't read or take the time to understand what they have read will not understand a thing the author was writing; while the true reader will recognize an author and revisit their books periodically because they know each time the books are read the reader will learn more.

Those jumping and condeming are a dime a dozen and no doubt when the authors were alive, their work and books was never appreaciated because people didn't take the time to listen to what they were teaching.
