Hollith - My sleep pattern has been awful. Its been like two hours sleep then awake ...one hours sleep then awake again. I was lucky if I got a full hour at one point and three hours in a row was heaven. Sometimes I wouldnt sleep at all. I worried also because you read with adrenal fatigue you need to sleep and rest alot and lay in on a morning. Actually this symptom is improving for me now since I took my liver supplement. I know it is my adrenals but there is a link with liver...something to do with the livers sulphation pathway (phase 2) that neutralises/detoxifies cortisol. Sulphur amino acids have helped alot I think. Also you need magnesium. Taking two tablets before bed has helped me too. It can become a vicious circle because you find yourself getting anxious to go to bed because you know you wont sleep...then you feel horrible all day through lack of sleep. I dont know about the melatonin, I never tried it myself but if things get really bad maybe give it a go. Not sure but I think Scarface tried this?
