Re: Can you do a cleanse the next day after already doing one?

Hi Porsche, you are so welcome! I'm glad you did get results from the flush after all! Congratulations. You can do another one in as little as 2 weeks if you are following the suggestions of Hulda Clark .

As far as what to cook...how to eat less fat/chocolate/cheese/meat...the very foods we were weaned on and grew to depend on and love and hate at the same time...wow, there's a few books!

Ok, maybe it doesn't have to be that complicated or drastic or hard. I have been slowly transitioning to eating more healthily for a couple of years. From a chocolate LOVER, ice-cream LOVER, cheese LOVER, to...are you ready for this? A COMPLETE raw foodist! I ONLY eat raw fruits/vegetables/soaked nuts...sounds pretty boring and, frankly, HORRIBLE, doesn't it!!!

But, guess what! You would not BELIEVE how good raw food can really be. I always thought it meant, "here buddy, have a nice raw carrot." mmm....YUCK! But I have discovered there are some UNBELIEVABLE tasting dishes you can make, that are so good to the body...dishes you would order whether or not they were raw.

If you are at all interested, there are lots of potlucks/seminars/get togethers for eating raw foods; try going to this link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Orange_County_CA_Living_foods/

and you can join it for free.

Now, having shared all that, hey, go at your OWN pace. The very fact that you are interested in regaining lost vitality and looks is FABULOUS, and any step you take towards these goals will only serve you well. I read a fantastic book called Feel Good Food (you can get it at Amazon.com) that teaches you how a couple of women in the UK came to eat really healthily. But if I had to summarize the whole book for you in a sentence or so, I would say this: Listen to your body, as you eat whatever you are eating, and notice how you FEEL before/during/after eating...become aware of exactly how your foods are affecting you. Don't stop eating chocolate...just become completely aware of how it feels, emotionally, mentally, physically, of eating it, even hours later. You may be quite surprised! This will start to awaken your own natural God-given intuition about what to eat, and you may find yourself making eating choices based on how foods FEEL to you...

Anyways, I hope this was helpful, and I wish you every success as I cheer you on to greater and greater victories.

Love Mikey
