Re: Do you want to use Roaccutane (Please read this)

Hey there, I totally HEAR YOUR CRIES. I too had whiteheads (invisible to the eye unless very close up). Thinking about it now, it WAS NOT AS SEVERE AS I thought....anyway.......fast-forward two years. Took accutane for a year, first month 40mg and then a couple months 20mg/day. Well now I have a slew of problems, in addition to which is VERY UNSIGHTLY SKIN (more so than before)-
(1) ICE PICK AND IRREGULAR SCARRING ALL OVER, which looks HORRIBLE UNDER DIRECT LIGHT, I cant even stand it.
(2) AS if the scarring was not enough-HUGE DISCOLORATIONS.....
(3) EYE DRYNESS....LIP CRACKING EVEN THROUGH ITS BEEN A YEAR SINCE I STOPPED TAKIN THIS DRUG
(4) MUSCLE WEAKNESS
(5) PSYCHOLOGICAL CHANGES.......
(6) CANNOT STAND TO BE IN THE SUN FOR LONG (since accutane affected sebrum production, which protects my skin
(7) FACIAL FLUSHING AND OVERHEATING.
(8) WEAKING OF VISION


GUYS NO MATTER HOW BAD IT MAY SEEM, PLEASE IF UR Acne IS NOT VERY SEVERE, PLEASE DO NOTTTTT CHOOSE THIS DRUG.

IF I COULD GO BACK I WOULD.
AND IF I COULD SHOOT THE DOCTOR THAT SUGGESTED I TAKE IT, sometimes i think I wish I could.......(but of course i wont)

THEY SAY THAT ACCTANE REDUCES SCARS, IMPROVES SKIN TEXTURE.....BLA BLA BLA, PLEASE NOT THAT THIS IS ONLY when u are on the drug.
What doctors try to do is make us take it in smaller doses FOR OUR ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!

DO I LOOK F***IN MAD?
Seriously, think twice if your Acne is not that bad. Put it in perspective by looking at pictures of pple with severe cystic acne......

Anything less......try something else!!!
