Re: White Privilege
I always feel discouraged and a bit saddened when I read something like this...
The using of one, or even a group of individual's feelings toward the "perceived" (this is a media based perception - not necessarily "real") actions and behavior of a few, to mold, divide, and foster feelings of hate towards the many along racial\religious\class\etc. lines.
this is how it starts... fuel for the fire... your time and energy could have been used to help mend in this time of need, rather than incite.
you are either part of the solution or part of the problem... things like this are a part of the problem.
educate, don't hate.
BTW - it would have been more accurate if you would have used the term "class" or "status" privilege... many examples of this across racial lines with politicians, celebrities, CEO's etc. and what they get away with.
why use the inaccurate race card?
