I had to take my daughter in for this and she was only 10. She could brush ten ways from Sunday and still have what we call sewer breath. What did help is to increase your water intake, use the waterpik religiously morning and night and to go as far bask as possible and rotate the spray around both tonsils and then also gargling as hard as you can preferably with Listerine type mouthwash. Once a week she also does the same thing with saltwater. We also got her a Sinus Rinse bottle and that helps as well. All of these things were reccomended after they found that she had perfect oral hygiene etc and an ENT specialist said it was those little tonsil stones and fo her to try to sleep on her side as well so the saliva doesnt back up a different way. I am rambling, good luck!
