The American Spirit...

The American spirit is about humanitarian and charitable acts that come from the Individual who has taken Upon Themselves to support another human being. It’s about using their own time and resources that they generated for themselves by working hard. They do not lay around playing victim waiting for the government.

My younger brother has taken three separate trips to New Orleans helping people he did not know, using HIS OWN TIME and resources (MONEY) to help those who lost their homes after Katrina.

He lived in a funky trailer, took his own tools and worked with a team of other likeminded patriotic, Christian individuals. Many others did the same thing.

Contrast this to the community organizer mentality: They want to increase government power by grabbing money away from hard working individuals and then handing that money over to selective groups with the intent of buying votes and staying in power.

The American people are the most charitable on the planet. They actually use their own time and resources without government intrusion and extraction and they want it to stay that way. It's called self responsibility.

The American Spirit shines on.
