I was wondering if it is safe or a good idea to do the Master-Cleanse for one day out of every week, just as maintenance to the body and to give your metabolism a break? I know the book calls for 10 days but I was just wondering if this would be beneficial or would it actually not be good for you to do this? If you did it for just one day would you have to drink orange juice all day the next day? I know there is a lot of criticism towards the Master-Cleanse out there such as there is no protein and it can slow down your metabolism, I know there is no protein but does it slow down your metabolism?Any feedback is appreciated.
