Dr. Schulze's Theory and My Response
Dear ones,
I'm going to go through this chapter with y'all so you can see where
Dr. Schulze is coming from. He and Sam Bizer wrote this chapter back in 1995, and a whole lot of research has been done since then. I think
Dr. Schulze nailed it in some instances, but missed it in some other instances. As I have time this weekend, I will post some excerpts from the SYL manual. I will tell you the little I know, and then you can come to your own conclusions from there.
Quotes from Sam Bizer and
Dr. Schulze , SYL, pp. 346- 347.
Bizer:
"Nerve disorders can be cured- but it takes total, dedicated natural programs to do it."
Note from Donna: What I have is not a nerve disorder. It is strictly muscular. But I still want to be helpful, if possible, because all of these diseases are lumped together under the MDA umbrella.
"There is no wonder substance or 'herb in a capsule' that will correct these disorders."
"...I can't believe people are so ignorant as to believe that drugs can cure these diseases, or that they ever will."
"Nerve disorders are total system breakdowns."
"If you have one of these diseases, you need a complete overhaul. You need the whole Incurables Program. Do not be tempted to pick some herbs from this chapter and try them first. DO THE WHOLE PROGRAM OR DON'T WASTE EVERYONE'S TIME.... That means the cold sheet treatments, the hot and cold showers, the juice fasting- ALL OF IT."
Dr. Schulze:
"Immune abnormalities are behind a lot of neurological breakdowns."
Note from Donna: According to the top researchers of the disease I was labeled with, this is not the case. It is strictly genetic (as of 2001 when they found that genes were missing on a certain DNA string in muscle cells). However, there are many questions that remain unanswered, and as more research is done, the whole picture will become more clear. We know SO little about these diseases.
"...[N]eurological disorders are being looked at more and more as immune system weakeners, also as probable viral, maybe even bacterial, maybe even parasitical in nature."
Note from Donna: I'm not that familiar with the research being done on MS, MG, etc., but I believe I have read that some MS cases have Epstein-Barr involvement, and
Hulda Clark reported liver fluke involvement in her neuromuscular disease patients. I think Clark came to the wrong conclusion in this regard, but I just want to confirm that Dr. Schulze's hunch back in 1995 (and Dr. Christopher's hunch back in 1945!) now has some
Science to back it up.
"...[T]he immune system may be attacking you. These are being called auto-immunse diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis. Now, the only reason muscular dystrophy, I think the only reason they won't say this about muscular dystrophy is because there's so much money being spent on research by the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation [sic]. So they say the same thing, 'cause unknown, no therapy.' They don't talk immune system with muscular dystrophy that much yet. But, there's a few people suggesting it."
Note from Donna: The human genome (genetic code) was cracked in 1999, opening a whole new field in genetic research, stem cell research, etc. An amazing amount of research in genetic diseases has been done during this past decade. The cause of FSHD was discovered in 2001, and countless hours of research to find a cure for it, and honestly, just to try to find out WHY and HOW the disease shows up the way it does continues to be done. The main topic of discussion among the MDA research scientists is gene replacement therapy. The trouble is that they don't know how to do that yet. It is so heartbreaking for families affected by muscular dystrophy. We are either watching our own bodies deteriorate before our eyes, our bodies literally eating us and in some cases, killing us, or we are watching a loved one grow weaker by the day or year, and there is nothing we can do but make their lives more comfortable until they pass.
"Obviously, when anybody has any neurological disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis or others, it is the Incurables Program. That's where everybody has to START."
Note from Donna: The Incurables Program is just the STARTING POINT. I am trying to make this program fun and somewhat light-hearted by calling it a party. We have to have a positive attitude about doing this, because it is so intense. But please, do not ever think I do not take the IP seriously. I am intimately aware of how serious this work is. Unyquity and I are making discoveries right and left about how this disease manifested itself in my body and life, and I tell you I will have to work harder than I ever have to correct it. I sure did work hard to get it, that's for sure. Our hunch at this point is that the disease IS genetic (duh), but it takes a certain environment for the disease process to kick in and become a full-blown clinical manisfestation. So that means correcting the environment- a complete life overhaul. Dr. Schulze's "stop what you're doing..." is no cutesy little jingle. In my case, and in the case of others with neuromuscular diseases, it means, "FREEZE! STOP WHERE YOU ARE! DON'T MOVE! YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!" That kind of "stop."
We either "stop what we're doing and start doing things that make us well," or we die, people. We either die and get buried, or we die on the inside. I don't know what trauma anyone else with this has gone through, but I betcha they've gone through some trauma. It's one of those things I think the researchers should do a study on. What is going on in these people's lives that their bodies are destroying them?
I know this is heavy stuff. I apologize. But if we want healing to occur, we have to look at the underlying root cause(s) of the disease. Otherwise, as Bizer says, we are just wasting everyone's time.
I love you,
Donna
