Gold/silver coinage is a way of preserving the little wealth we have acumulated/saving for a rainy day when the powers that be deliberately bring the fiat money system down. Thats what is happening right now. Our money system is in its death throws. Next to a paid for house (ie debt free), there is nothing that beats gold/silver coins.
