Abuse? In the Islam that I know, humility is a desirable quality that all the prophets of God possessed. It is precisely because of their exemplary humility that they were able to give up their egos enough to serve God with all their hearts and souls.

I think it is more an insult to attribute such sayings to God's messenger (saaw) that go directly against the message of the Quran. If Abraham (saaw) wasn't humble before God, how would he agree to leave his relatives and friends and obey God's orders in creating a covenant? If Moses (saaw) wasn't humble before God, how would he be able to lead the Hebrews into the desert depending only on God's grace? If Jesus (saaw) wasn't humble, how would he give God all the glory for the miracles he performed with God's permission?
I don't remember declaring myself an enemy of God's angels or anyone else.
