My first package was lost/delayed by the post office. Before that, I had only email contact with them, in such a way that I didn't get notification by email, and didn't know I was supposed to. The silence was deafening! ...Especially when I was just learning, and hoping.

Someone said that a three-day fast on veggie juice is really helpful. I would guess that the occasional glass of home-made veggie juice wouldn't hurt...as long as your doctor had no objections.
