Re: His Infernal Majesty
Hi G,
I have a retail business, so I'm always looking for good wholesale sources. Because I'm facinated with crystals, I'm always looking for good inexpensive sources. For orgonite, I've been using chip strands, and cryatal beads, because I already have them, and they are so inexpensive, and you can get amythyst, citrine, and smokey quartz inexpensively.
Here is a good source for chips and rock crystal beads that sells wholesale to the public;

They are located in Oregon, which doesn't have a sales tax, and they do not require a tax ID number.
Here is another sample:

If you want to use copper wire in your orgonite, they probably also sell it.
When I get to the point of needing to order crystals for orgonite, or just to sell in my shop, I've found this site, which is fairly close to me, in Florida.

Thier wholesale prices look ok, and they have been around for a while. You might have to go through some hoops to get a wholesale account with them, but it might be worth doing.
Here are the other on line sources I've considered:

I'd love to order from these guys, (below)they are in South Africa, and they have beautiful specimens, but I have not done so yet. I would recommend a small order to start, by credit card. International shipping is can be a pain in the rear.

I don't think the crystals need to feel energetic at all to be useful in orgonite, they seem to become more energetic when they are surrounded by the metal and the resin, they kind of 'relax', I think because their fragile, ancient structure is finally protected. I think adding citrine is a really good idea, it seems to jazz it up greately, citrine is reputed to be self cleansing, or it essentially somehow gets rid of 'bad energy' all by itself.
I just cast a batch this morning, and put the batch I did last week outside the house, on top of, or near anything electrical. It did seem to lighten the darkness.
My goal is to make one batch a week, I know I can usually do that without causing a problem financially or in terms of time, and eventually, that adds up. Once I'm more confident in my results, I'll start experimenting.
