Comfrey Root Extract, Swollen Bursar

I caught my weight with my right forearm, near the elbow.  Nothing broken, but the tissue near the bone was painful.   That was about two months ago.  I noticed that the forearm near the elbow was painful when any weight was placed on that part of my right forearm.

Then I noticed the impacted area, nearf the elbow, was swelling up.  So after about 3 weeks of ignoring the pain, I started avoiding contact with the right forearm, near the elbow.  I used my left forearm, like for turning in bed, and when writing, kept my right elbow off the desk.

I went to the doctor about a month ago, after a week of favoring my swollen bursar, and he recommended IBUProfen, 800 MG three times a day, to reduce inflamation.  He recommended Ice, but not too cold, to try to reduce the swelling.  I tried that for a week, but did not get much reduction in swelling.

Then went to the health food store, looking for Comfrey Root.  I found Comfrey leaves, and Comfrey Leaf Ointment.  I bought a dropper bottle of Comfrey Root Extract, Symphytum officinale, 38-44% Grain Alcohol, mucalige rich extract, and less that 1 PPM pytrolizdine alkaloids.  They say for external use only, and to keep it away from the eyes.

I have been using the IBUProfen with Comfrey root for about a week.  The Comfrey Root Extract goes on like an oil.  They say to keep it away from the eyes.  I put on a long sleeeve shirt, and wash my hands after application.  When I take off my shirt, I wash my elbow, and put the shirt in the laundry. seemd to help a little.

One night I had not taken IB Profin since the mornig, so I drank a beer in the evening.  I have heard you are not supposed to drink when taking IBUProfen.  So when I woke up, the swelling seemd to be a little reduced.  The beer is suposed to cause dehydration of the body.  The swollen bursar is supposed to be filled with water, according teo the doctor.

The Mecical Doctor said he could stick a needle in the bursar and draw off the water, but that there was a danger of infection, from draining the fluid with a needle.  The Medical Doctor said he would rather wait till I had waited longer, or had further problems with the swollen bursar.

Progress is slow, but I am trying the combination of everything. Link to Corezone post on Comfrey Root.

I have not yet tried a mag pulser.

Don't know how to find a therapist that has a mag pulser.  Maybe I should call the manufacturer.
