Lots of good wishes for you and for him. No regrets to be had here, you did your utmost best. And he gained some extra life by being alive in the mind of all of us who heard his story and prayed for him.
You created links between him and us which were unexpected given there was very little chance we could have met him in person.

Expanding the soul. This is beautiful and what love is all about.
By praying for him we expanded too.
