Seperation

There is a very good reason that there should be separation of church and state. So that people that confuse tyrannical religious beliefs with what is "moral" over the will of the people (many, many who do not share their beliefs) do not make a technical error on behalf of the citizenry.

I don't fault people their religion, until it supersedes my rights. Yep, I have rights too, many of which might be considered "evil".

Religion and politics is a lame marriage. It does not represent all the people. As far as I can tell throughout my years, christianity is rarely practiced within the spirit of christianity by politicians.

It would be best to have an atheist as a leader. Then we can be assured that religion does not interfere and cause bad judgment. Atheists are not immoral in the least. Right and wrong is subjective and philosophical at most. Have you ever debated "what is moral" with anyone? You would most likely be in a non-winnable, circular argument.

And if you say that all atheists are going to "hell", well then I'd say you should never run for vice president...ever.

The Clintons tried to install the "politics of meaning" into their administration. I happen to know a little something about the organization that developed that philosophy. Let's just say that the leader was very interested in a number of the female volunteers....VERY INTERESTED. It was a shameful display of which I have personal knowledge.

Religion pretends to be your friend....but it's going to get you in the end.

As far as Sarah Pallin is concerned.....well I'll post some of my tidbits and you'll know exactly what I think, well written by others.
