IP Itinerary: The Food Program


I'm going to detail how to set up a schedule to do the Incurables Party step by step, exactly as outlined in the Save Your Life Manual.

First, set up a time schedule like a Day at a Glance, in 15 minute increments. Trust me, your schedule will be THAT detailed. Allow yourself seven hours of sleep to start. In my family, going to bed before 11PM is impossible, so I will set my alarm for 6AM.

6:30
6:45
7:00 etc.

Right now I am only addressing the food program, so this post will only reflect this.

During the first 30 to 60 days on the IP, we do a juice fast. This means, we are only going to drink fresh homemade juice, home distilled water, herbal teas, homemade smoothies, and a homemade soup called potassium broth. We aren't going to EAT any solid food. I have done a 14 day juice fast before, a few 7 day ones, and several 3 day ones. On the 14 day juice fast, I got pretty hungry on day 4 and 5, but after that, I just wasn't hungry. We need massive amounts of fabulous nutrition in order to heal, and the fastest way to get it in is to drink juice. There's no way we could eat as much as we would need to. Also, juices require less energy to digest. We need all of our energy going to the healing process.

After the juice fast is over, we are going to switch to a 100% raw organic vegan diet until we are 100% well- the 100% raw to well program. :-)

The juice HAS to be homemade, with a good juicer like my old Champion. I bought mine used for $100 about 5 years ago. I will probably bequeath that thing to one of my grandchildren it is so awesome. Buy a used one on Ebay and get replacement parts for it if you need to. But you can't get in to the Incurables Party if you don't have a juicer! lol

You're going to make and drink 12 to 16 pint sized Mason jars of fresh juice every day. You can put a plastic grocery bag over the pulp end of the juicer so it's easier to clean up. You juice into a bowl and pour the fresh juice into the jars till they overflow. Then you put the seal and ring on the jars, wipe them off, and put them in the refrigerator to chill. If you have an over abundance of produce, you can freeze the leftovers.

Technically you are supposed to juice every glass of juice just as you need it. I did this the last time I did the IP. I was in the kitchen at the juicer almost all day every single day for a month and that got depressing after a while. So this time I am just scheduling an hour to juice all at once in the evening. That way I only make one big mess instead of 12, and I only have to clean up my juicer once. The juice won't be QUITE as fresh as if you juiced and immediately drank it, but you're still getting a lot better nutrition than normal, and you're not tied to the kitchen all day. When you have a family and house to take care of (or at least supervise), you need all the step savers you can get.

Make sure 16 ounces of this juice is carrot juice. Carrot juice not only has Vitamin A but calcium.

Three times a day, we are going to make and drink Superfood Smoothies. With other diseases, 2 smoothies might be enough, but we need the extra goodies because we are extra depleted. Three it is. You take a jar of juice and put it in a blender. You pour 8 ounces distilled water into the jar and then pour the jar of water into the blender. You add 1/2 cup of seasonal fruit and 2 tablespoons Superfood. There's a recipe for making your own Superfood, and after you're confident, you may want to try making your own. But for now, use purchased Superfood. You whirl that around for a minute, and drink.

Now, since we are dealing with muscular dystrophy, I have found that selenium is a "must have" mineral. The easiest way to get it is with a couple of raw organic Brazil nuts. So throw a couple of Brazil nuts in there and whirl. You can throw other things in there like wheat germ oil for the Vitamin E, another much needed Vitamin. If you feel a bit bound with the Superfood, add some flax oil or grind up some raw organic golden flax seeds in a little coffee grinder and mix 3-4 tablespoons into the smoothie. Add another tablespoon of wheatgrass powder or a shot of real wheatgrass juice. It's fabulous for the DNA and is a real energy booster.

One little caution with these smoothies: schedule them in on the early side of the day. These smoothies will be giving you a lot of energy, and may tend to keep you awake.

Three times a day, we are going to be drinking a cup of potassium broth. It is really good tasting. I'll share the recipe in a few days.

What are we NOT going to drink? Alcohol, coffee, black tea, milk, tap water, sodas/Cokes, or anything that comes in a can or a bottle or the fast food burger joint. Not sports waters, not Gatorade, and not Monsters. Not even Dr. Pepper or Sweet Leaf tea. :-( We will get a headache when we come off coffee, and we will tell all our loved ones we are detoxing from caffeine and they will laugh at us for being such addicts. lol Been there. So kiss your Starbucks barrista goodbye and break up with him. Start dreaming about hard core juicers. lol Made me attempt a curl with both arms. Nope, not yet. :-)

Oh! It looks like Dr. Schulze wasn't that particular about what kinds of juices to drink. I think he wants about half of it to be vegetable juice. I'll correct myself if I find out different. I know there are juicing recipe books that deal with different juices to aid certain things. As I get into the Party, I'll share different recipes I like.

OK, our food schedule might look like this:

8:00 juice, 9:00 Super Smoothie, 10:00 juice, 11:00 juice, 12:00 Potassium Broth, 1:00 Super Smoothie, 2:00 juice, 3:00 juice, 4:00 juice, 5:00 Super Smoothie, 6:00 Potassium Broth, 7:00 juice, make tomorrow's juice 8:00 juice, 9:00 Potassium Broth, 10:00 juice.

You can make the day's juice at any time. It looks like 7PM is good for me, since I'm in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner anyway.
