Re: Is Torture next? n/m

It was ironic...I was listening to recaps of
McCain making his acceptance of his nomination
speech and he was screaming, "Stand Up and Fight",
and yet, just outside the convention, there were
people being brutalized. I saw a video today
where a woman was being sprayed heavily from
a foot away with pepper-spray, her hands were
up, well, one was, the other covering her eyes.
She was being shoved violently and the mercenaries
or police? were using their bikes to shove her.
It looked like torture to me. I can only imagine
what the aftermath of that encounter was when
the footage stopped but I am sure it was not
what I would call civil or anything but an
abuse of power.

Speaking of abuse of power and suspending the
constitution~~
