Republican Nasty Convention

What is it about being a Republican that makes a person so nasty? Even here on Curezone I read the posts of some of the more outspoken Republicans and instantly get a picture of a venomous snake poised to attack or the foamy drool from a rabid attackdog.

I tried to watch the convention but the thinly veiled nastiness was too much to hear.

At the end of the day, these people don't have my economic interests in mind. It feels like so much manipulation in the name of so-called 'conservative values' HA! What in Hades do they know about values? No more than anyone else, in fact, maybe less.

I would never vote against my economic interests out of a fear of homosexuality and abortion.
