Re: nightime urination (getting up every night to pee)

Hi Janny,My suggestions would be to check out the following:-
1.Your bladder, and it's spincter. Has it been streached and weakened during childbirth? Pelvic floor exercises would help.
2.Your hormones.HRT is not always the answer.
3.Your vitamin/mineral/essential fatty acid intake. If you can't make enough serotonin to last through the night you will stay awake. UT may help here, as it recycles serotinin.
4.Are you worried about anything that keeps you awake once you have been out to pee?
5.Are you warm and comfortable when you go back to bed. It's hard to drop off to sleep if you are cold or uncomfortable.
How you deal with any of the above is up to you, but you need to find out the cause first.Good luck. Love and Light, Deotima.
