Re: Digestive issue?
Digestion could definitely play a huge roll. If you're thinking about going raw, do not go cold turkey. Gradually add raw foods into your diet or you will feel like crap most of your days. I'd also suggest having one small cooked meal per day along with your raw diet...some raw foodists of course would not agree with this statement but this is what I've learned from studying Chinese Medicine. Raw cold foods weaken your organs and overtime your body may start to break down, which has happened to some raw eaters I know. Just be careful and do some research.
For the digestion part, why don't you try these two remedies I learned in my course before buying expensive digestive aids.
Recipe #1:
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon raw honey
Mix the two together and consume 2 tablespoons of this mix before meals. It is a very powerful digestion remedy and can digest the heaviest of meals. Make a big batch if you like and save it in your fridge - measurements aren't crucial so just put enough cinnamon to make the honey thick.
Recipe #2:
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon raw honey
Mix the two together and consume only one teaspoon before meals.
This is also very powerful and I prefer it myself (I'm starting this remedy this week!)
