Overeating caused my case of SD--rashes now gone

Less than a year ago Seborrheic Dermatitis attacked me out of nowhere. It wasn't long before I had it on the side of my nose, eyebrows, ears, chest, scalp, and even a few places on my legs and arms. It was a very bad case. I tried all kinds of things and then finally decided to keep a JOURNAL. That was the best thing I could have done.

I wrote down everything I ate, the amount of sleep I got each night, and the condition of my rashes. During that time there was one occasion when my rash went from bad to absolutely horrible very quickly. I noticed that just before this, I had eaten a ton of food and then went running around outside. Then I recalled that my other really bad "breakouts" had all occurred after I had eaten way too much food. I put 2 and 2 together and realized that something about overeating was causing my case of SD.

I am not making the claim that overeating is the cause of everyone's SD, but I can say with certainty the following:

1) Eating small to moderate meals, coupled with frequent washing/showering with Neutrogena soup (or some other mild soap) has CURED ME. I emphasize the word ME.

2) Journaling is your best hope for discovering the cause of your problems with SD.

I sincerely hope that everyone can benefit--if not be cured--by eating smaller portions and washing often with a mild soap. I know this is wishful thinking, but please give it a try, at least. It certainly can't hurt. I think everyone has times when their rashes flare up badly, and there must be something triggering these episodes. Your job is to find out what the trigger is, and keeping a journal is the way to do this.

Was it that I ate too much oil? Too much sugar? Just too much food? I don't know. But now I make sure to eat only small amounts of healthy food, and keep my skin free of excess oil, and my rashes are gone. GONE!!

May God and this advice help all of you. I know how horrible SD can be, and I sincerely hope this works for everyone. If not, keep fighting until you find the cure that works for you. Don't give up!

Sincerely,

Uch
