Steering clear of all gluten will probably make a huge difference.
Also, beware of so-called "sports drinks" which are also hiding a multitude of sins.
btw--there's good protein in green leafy vegs, quinoa -- which is not a grain,
millet, beans. Nuts, avocados...etc. The need for meat is part of a big protein myth.
