Don't freak out, you need to get a diagnosis first. If it is your thyroid, do NOT take a radiocative Iodine treatment. There are other ways of dealing with thyroid nodules/cysts, such as supplementation with Lugol's Iodine or iodoral...

And your extreme tiredness and mood swings could very well be indicative of a hypothyroid condition.

But, as I said, you do need a diagnosis.
