I found plans for a homemade Water Ionizer on the internet. Go to this link http://www.redmondfamily.com/Olive%20and%20David/Health/Ionised%20W...
then click on "how to build a water ioniser" to see the plans. There are two versions. The most straightforward of the two uses two glasses of water connected by cotton or cloth. An electode is placed in each glass, then connected to a 12 volt power adapter for 4 hours.
The only problem I have with this design is the choice of electordes. The Redmonds use stainless steel. Does anyone know if this is safe? Does anyone out there with a commercial alkaline or ionisizing water machine know what the electordes are made of? If so, please post.
Here is a link to another simple water ioniser. This one has pictures so that you can get an idea of what the homebuilt version might look like. http://www.ewatermachine.com/
