I find it interesting that if you were to pay attention more and "bay less", you might looked up to see that the Gerson forum was the THIRD forum chosen for the original post. I don't normally make posts in the Gerson forum, as anyone who takes the time to check can readily see. I am not trying to add on to the Gerson treatment at all - I merely pointed out the esteemed cancer treatment pioneer's own experience to underscore the importance of protecting the liver.
I DO make posts in the cancer forum frequently (where I saw the original post) because yes I do have my own experience and recommendations, which I believe are more effective and successful in today's world than Gerson's. I have tremendous respect for Gerson and view him as a hero. However, like Caisse and even Budwig, Gerson was a pioneer who had his heyday when toxins were much lower and fruits and vegetables had much more nutrition than today. The Gerson protocol is still effective for many people, Budwig's too (and Essaic is now a quite weak stand alone treatment), but increasingly we are finding out that people need more than just those treatments to beat cancer in today's world.
