Hey - Just thought I'd chime in and comment since I'm in a similar condition weight wise. I'm 25, male, 5'8" and around 130lb or so. I was very skinny back when I was 19-20 despite my crappy normal diet, so this isn't bothering me so much (I think I was around 115 or so back then). I feel like all the swelling (mucus) has mostly left. Even my fingers feel thinner and more agile.
If one wanted to build muscle, which would really be the only healthy type of weight as far as I can tell, I would have to think that more nuts and seeds would be the most natural plant foods (I suppose you could consider this a "medicinal" use for these items since obviously they aren't fruit). I use good extra virgin olive oil, and occasionally some nuts/nut butters, and seeds. Yet, I'm still at this weight (although I'm not sure how much is left to lose, or if I'm declining much at this point).
