Caine Virus hits Colorado

I have almost two year old young dog.

Have just been notified that we have epidemic of caine virus here in
Colorado Springs, CO.

Anyone know what I can do to prevent my dog from getting this or if
he does what I can do? He get a very good organic diet, coconut oil
mixed into his foods also. Anyone know if we can add doses of Vit.
C to his foods, if this would help his immune system? Thought about
putting Iodine in his water also... but he is only around 20-24 pounds
and I'm not sure how much to give him.

I'm currently in a battle here in the first place as no Vet in town
will recognize the 3 puppy vacs. he was given by breeder and myself.
I'm refusing to revaccinate him and therefore, no Vet will take him
under their care.

I would appreciate any advice!
