If you slept with him and do not know him well, including his sexual history/and/or present doings, I would recommend finding out pronto and if you did not use protection in this day and age you maywell have a death wish you are unaware of.

Be smart and treat yourself with the care and respect you deserve.  Especially if your past includes abuse.  You will be naturally magnetized towards it unless you work really hard to change what you are drawn to.
