I tried taking serrapeptase for vein cleansing but developed severe joint pains that at first I didn't associate with serrapeptase. However, after systematically eliminating various supplements, I got to serrapeptase and when I stopped taking it joint pain improved dramatically. Hard to believe since serrapeptase is supposed to RELIEVE pain. That was quite a while ago and I forgot about it. Recently I found a bottle of serrapeptase and, forgetting about prior experience, started taking it again in an effort to relieve joint pain caused by food allergies and the joint pain immediately got MUCH worse, which triggered my memory of past experience. DUH.
This is not the only time I've had reactions to supplements that are not common. Seems ironic to me that, for me, serrapeptase makes worse what it is supposed to relieve. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had this experience.
