In "Your Own Perfect Medicine", Martha Christie points out how several successful fertility drugs such as Pergonal are made from urine extracts and that a few women have reported to her how they feel urine therapy helped them to conceive. She says the 'best and safest method' is to use urine therapy for a certain period (six months) before trying to conceive and to discontinue its use during the days that you're attempting to conceive.

Coen Van Der Kroon in "The Golden Fountain" also points to research into the possible medicine effects of UT whereby urine is collected from pregnant women and given to women who have difficulty conceiving. He doesn't say whether this works or not.

Christie advises NOT to use urine therapy during pregnancy UNLESS you are under the supervision of a doctor familiar with UT...
"Some doctors have reported that they have used urine therapy for morning sickness with excellent results, but there are reports of two spontaneous abortions which occurred after urine therapy treatment (ref Dunne and Plesch), possibly because of the natural release of toxins which occur with urine therapy". (176)

Van Der Kroon also points to the work of Dr Edam from Germany in 1965 who recommended urine as the most effective treatment for morning sickness during pregnancy. The doctor apparently maintained that no side effects had been diagnosed.

Van Der Kroon advises that "Pregnant woman can practise urine therapy with the following restrictions. The first morning urine should NOT be ingested. After drinking water, tea or milk, you may drink the second or third flow. The urine should be light in colour, not too sharp or bitter and not too concentrated". (p.58) Presumably again as the first morning urine could be quite toxic.

In my opinion, I think the urine probably did help you become pregnant :)
