Think I may have Ascaris - need opinions please

I have been trying to heal self of various problems, one of which is cystic Acne (others are hypothyroidism, fertility issues, ovarian cysts). I was reading the Hulda Clark book and saw that Ascaris can be a cause, and that it can cause puffy eyelids. Over a year ago, I woke up one morning and was shocked to see how puffy my eyelids were. This is pretty much every morning since then, and they get better during the day. I assumed at the time, possibly kidney issue, and then hypothyroid (which was true) but it hasn't gotten much better. I also know (which makes me very suspicious) that my Acne starting getting progressively worse and worse since then. I also have coughing fits that come out of nowhere (never had allergies), and just this past winter I was amazed at how bad my coughs would get when I got a cold. I would be up all night coughing, and often times nothing would stop it. I began to wonder if I may have some asthma (my husband and son do!), but it was usually a tickly feeling in my throat that just wouldn't go away. I don't feel anything in particular that would seem like worms moving inside me, but these other things make me really wonder. I also get constipated (although better since doing a colon cleanse) and sometimes totally exhausted after eating.

Who do you go to to be tested for this? Would my regular MD test for this (I have a fairly open-minded one, to some extent)? Can I do it through somewhere myself? Are stool tests very reliable? Could it just be in your lungs and therefore not show up in stool tests? Do you think I would've seen a worm come out of me by now if I am infected? Are there any other tell-tale signs I should look out for?

I am worried about treating for this without really knowing b/c I have read other posts and it sounds very difficult to get rid of completely (and therefore quite an extreme protocol), and I am terrified I may make it travel to other organs.
