Anyone check the PH of Vitalizer Plus water?

I just recently purchased a Vitalizer Plus. I checked the PH of the distilled water that I used in it before and after running it for 9 minutes. It was 5.5 in both instances. I then put in more distilled water and ran it for 18 minutes. Again, a 5.5, maybe a 5.6. Based on the information I read on it, distilled water that is a PH of 5.5, should be a 7.0 after 9 minutes in the V.P. Has anyone here checked the PH level of your water before and after running it through the V.P.? Everything appears to be operating correctly on the unit. I'm wondering if I possibly got a defective Vitalizer Plus or if it doesn't alkalize the water like it claims. Tweet
