Re: I don't know what to do anymore
Hi Julie, Yes I am a bit down. There are other things in my life doing that.
I have been discouraged because the problem seems to be with gut bacteria\protozoa.
It's not something you can just "get rid of".
I have been on enough medications\supplements to kill just about everything.
I am perfectly healthy otherwise, but certain symptoms just don't leave.
The frustrating thing is; I have had the "infection" or whatever you want to call it--leave, for two weeks.
I had urinated puss, and this tells me that there is something causing problems.
I say it is parasitic in nature because if it were pathogenic there would be progression of symptoms. My symptoms only fluctuate according to the therapy I am using.
Sulfa drugs allowed me to purge loads of protozoa, which I still cannot properly identify. Since they are not found normally in stool samples, they must be hanging on in the upper bowel region.
There is also a mold problem in the gut----according to culture samples.
This means the flora of the gut is not balanced.
There is also a lack of lactobacteria, and high levels of e-coli. Again, this suggests imbalances of the gut.
Taking enzymes with meals dramatically improves my digestion, which again, means there is a distinct lack of naturally occurring digestive enzymes and stomach acid.
This could indicate a primary problem physiologically, but impossible to say for sure.
Sorry, I'm blabbing on.....
Anyway, I need to try something new. Shroom
