Re: Follow-up: Seems like neuropathy?

I agree that you should find a different chiropractor. The technique he/she used he/she apparently isn't very good at. You may be hypermobile, meaning your joints and vertebrae move or "crack" easily. They shouldn't be moved all over like you said your chiropractor did. Your symptoms are exactly those of someone who has been adjusted improperly. Because you need to stabilize in the correct position I would find a chiropractor who uses Activator technique. Nothing cracks, a small instrument is used and it is only used in the areas that your body indicates by a careful analysis that it needs. It is very gentle. All techniques are good as long as the doctor is good, but I would stick to low force techniques in your case. Also, when you call doctors to check out what the do, and they say yes, they do Activator. Ask if they have advanced activator certfication and use activator analysis. A lot of docs will say they use activator without learning the technique, therefore they just use it where the feel you need it. That is not good, there is no way just feeling for restrictive movement will tell them where a subluxation is or what direction it needs to be adjusted. That's what I'd do. I hope you find help soon!
