Re: Visit with a cheif medical guy
"Puts me on metronideazole 500 mg 2 X's a day, for five days, to kill flagalites (spelling poor I know) not much change, but did get out more pathogens and new pictures, that I have never seen before, but this is not whats killing me.
So now for three days.....nitazoxanide 500 mg 2X's, for three days, I feel differant for sure, and a lot of things moving around in my body, for sure, extreme hexeimer effect. One more day on this. And of coarse more pathogons coming out, that I have never seen before. Right down to a bright green snake looking creature, all microscopic of coarse."
Your specialist is creating a superbug of whatever it is you have. Metronidazole dosage is at least 750mg tid and from my experience at least 15 days if not longer. It has a blood half life of about 6 hours at the most which means that you are scaring them away for about 4-6 hours, then they re-emerve and can get slowly used to it while the amount of medication in your bloodstream is low. There are studies showing that taking less then 750mg of metronidazole tid will create resistant strains which become super bugs. There already are resistant strains out there.
Nitaxoanide has a half life of about 8 hours, so taking it twice daily is again creating a super bug. I would take 500mg tid and for at least 7-10 days if not longer. And whatever it is you are taking make sure that towards the end of the treatment you take Paromomycin for about 10 days (750mg tid) otherwise everything will come back. In addition before paromomycin I'd try first diloxanide fuorate for about a week or ten days because it is the only thing that attacks cysts and then proceed with paromomycin.
Best thing to do is to always first check among scientific or medical journals and papers what are effective dosages of medications otherwise there may be more harm then you can imagine. Never put blind trust into anyone.
