Who to Believe

I'm curious about something, having a hard time understanding it. I'm hoping that someone will be able to explain it to me. We have a person on this board that works with sodium chlorite day in and day out. He's worked with it for years. Now his job isn't cleaning out swimming pools, he does so much more than that. And then we have people who became interested in Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , and started doing a little research on the web. I've done web research as well, and I discovered that not all the sites that had info on chlorine dioxide and sodium chlorite were accurate. What I did find was that if I had a question, Bruce had an answer, and if he didn't readily have the answer, he knew where to find an anwer from reliable sources. Then Tom started experimenting, and communicating with Bruce. And Tom readily admits that he has learned a great deal from Bruce and respects his knowledge. So now we have two men who don't just read stuff on the web, they work with it and experiment and find the answers, and they are both trustworthy and reliable. Why then do others feel that the little bit that they find on the web outweighs what these two tell us? And it isn't a matter of the application, because chlorine dioxide is chlorine dioxide no matter how you use it. And both Bruce and Tom have said that nobody knows the mechanism in the human body. So why would others who have no background in these chemicals try to be experts in the field? What are the qualifications? Why should they be believed when they tell Bruce that he is wrong? Where is the proof? Just curious.
