Re: Montauk Boys, yet another Monatauk Monster
OK, just doing a quick take of stock, we have one Montauk town and at least 3 Montauk monsters that have grown up over the years to surround that one town since it was first inhabited by native Montaukett Algonquin. In retrospect, perhaps we should not be surprised to have all these monsters growing up in the wake of land taken from native tribes.... who knows? Maybe the latter day Montauk was, knowingly or not, erected over top of ancient native burial grounds .... potentially, that aught to be good for a history of unexplainable "poltergeist", or two, shouldn't it? Okay, so just counting along, there's the USG monster that is itself larded and lauded with all kinds of departments and agencies and subsidiary ops and all manner of standing armies commissioned to manufacture all manner of spook lore. Chances are pretty good that the necessities for covering up of the USG Montauk Monster in part gave rise to the Montauk Boys monster..... time travel and other similar spooky stuff ..... and, you guessed it... there's gotta be.... I mean, it's practically become a matter of de facto law these days that any time a new monster is raised up to cover up an old USG monster, there must be at least one little green man in one super-duper fast but peculiar space ship hanging at the end of this kind of spaced-out monster.... and of recent there is the new entrant, one hot-web-trend monster... so many monsters, one little town, so little time. On average, how many monsters does one small town need? With one little town hogging up so many monsters, before long there may not be enough monsters to go around for other towns big and small who in some way might like to be associated with a monster ;)
