Hiatal hernia. The chiropractic end of it is the anerior tharacic adjustment with the doctors hand in the middle of your back and your arms crossed in front and pressure is applied from the front. That will handle the ribs that are involeved.
What you can do is stretch out on your back on the floor or bed, locate the little bone at the bottom of the rib cage right in the middle. There'll be a little bump there. Put your fingertips right below that little bump and push in and down at the same time. It'll hurt a bit. That will pull the top part of the stomach back through the diaphragm and give you almost immediate relief.
Don't overfill the stomach and keep it on the lower side of the diaphragm with that manuvere and it'll heal up in about three months. Takes some work. And, of course keep your spine squared awway.
