Re: ALERT! "must read info" methinks! Re: Dr Schulze gives 10 minute a/v recap of Liver/GB flush

Personally, Uny, I'm glad you said what you said.

As far as a show of hands, I have done both methods, having first started with the Clark/Kelley protocol, and then eventually having found the newer Schulze method. I have not gotten into problems with either but this is just me; one person. Rather than trying to speak for Schulze, something that I am guilty of doing at time, I'll speak for myself. A qualifier to this is, my suspicion is that Richard Schulze today may be what the Richard Schulze of 30 years ago looks like after going through 30 years of trials at the hands of the medical mafia. There is a video of a 3-day lecture he gave sometime in the early 90s, I think, but not sure, but that was at the least a slightly different Schulze, one who still had hair down his back in pony tail, and one who unabashedly recited to his class the anecdote of how, one day, while driving down the road in Cali, he saw a patient of his (whom he was personally treating for serious disease) in her car, smoking a cigarette, after which he commandeered his car, chased down this woman, forced her car off to the side of the road just so he could berate her for backsliding and falling off the program. To me, that was the sign of a person who was passionate about his work.... and possibly also the sign of a person with a few screws loose, but passionate nonetheless. Some telling contrast is that this same lecture also presents the quickie version ( a clover or two of garlic blended with a spoon full of Olive Oil) to liver flushing. It sticks in my mind that at least during the era of that lecture, he did qualify this method by referring to it as a quickie method. So, there you have it, within one 3 day lecture, pieces of evidence of the old Richard Schulze side by side with pieces of evidence of a evolving .... newly emerging, possibly softening (or succumbing?), composite Richard Schulze.

I first began preparing to do the Clark protocol before I ever found CureZone. This was not casual prep. From the time that I first ever found a snippet of somebody else on a different web forum mentioning what I eventually discovered was the Clark Liver Flush protocol, I eventually came to spend over a full year in preparation. There was the night when I had all the ingredients assembled to do the first flush, but before I began mixing them, I sat down and re-read the Clark book, only to notice the passage "...for best results, do dental cleanup first", a passage that I had read before, but, somehow, it never really sank in, before, what that might mean. What it turned out to mean for me was another 6 to 8 months of prep time before I finally did the flush for the first time. Along the course of those extra months, I then found CZ for the first time. In short order, I eventually found the Liver Flush Forum on CZ, which I then immersed myself in while continuing to prep for the first go at The Clark Flush . Let me tell you, again (as I have said here before), by the time it took me to get all the fillings removed, about 6 months, I had read a lot of posts here on the Liver forum, and as I once again made the final approach to doing the flush for the first time, I noticed that an ominous sense of fear and uncertainty had set in, one that had not been there prior. The thought occurred to me that somehow, I had allowed the undercurrent of fear & uncertainty to be found in numerous threads (certainly not all, but certainly many) to seep into my consciousness. Upon reflection, I distinctly remember not having this sense, aura, of fear upon reading the Clark book, and neither did I have it after finding Kelley's work. I was still having moments of doubt, doubts that lurked in my mind throughout the day on that final day, while I was limiting myself to eating those kinds of things that Clark and Kelley advise to be eaten on that day. I clearly remember later that evening, the moment, right when I lifted that first glass of chilled Epsom Salts water to my lips ... the distinct sense of feeling "...well, for better or worse, here goes, cruel world.....", and I chugged. In retrospect, by the time the next 48 hours passed, the only truly bad/negative experience I remember having was the sense of trepidation that had built up during the previous months of preparation. I did not sleep well that night, but eventually I did sleep a few hours, and when I awoke early the next morning, all kinds of nasty things began coming out the bottom end, just like Hulda said, just like Donald said. I did not post here right away about this first go, but eventually I did. I found that the main reason for posting about this first go was to be as an example to maybe help and be used to contend with all the posts and threads of doom, gloom and awful experiences posted by other people on the Liver forum who did not have the same experience as I had, which was basically the experience that Hulda and Donald told me (through their books) to expect.

So, long story short, I take the blame for the the effort at associating, by way of this thread, the notion of "kinder, gentler liver flushing" and Richard Schulze. I even alluded to this, having mentioned that an after effect (from inhabiting the Liver Flush Forum ) I came to feel was that I had been guilty of not being sensitive to all the people who posted here of all the nasty glitches they experienced during their go at Liver Flushing. On the overall, my observation and experience had been that more often than not, the people who posted of those awful experiences were people who also admitted that they had decided to take short cuts to the Clark protocol, shortcuts that were quite significant, ones that I had not followed myself. I take the blame for promoting softer/gentler here. I admit that, maybe... possibly, after month after month of reading person after person exclaim "ew, I need to drink Epsom Salt water?, ew!.... I need to drink a glass of olive oil?...ew!, think my system is too delicate for alla that, ew!..." ...the effect on me (sorta kinda possibly caving in to demands) so to speak, may have been an effect not all that different to that which has (maybe) happened to Richard Schulze during the past 30 years of enduring the demands of the medical mafia..... in a world full of uncertainty, it seems that it might be that one of the things that has happened to Richard Schulze the past 30 years is that the medical mafia may not have succeeded in killing him outright, but in a way, by allowing him to do basically one thing - continue to make money, might have ultimately had a corrosive effect on the passion that he once had.

Uny, I'm glad you said it. Still, in the world where many people still like to think they have some choices, it might not be a totally bad thing that potential Liver Flushing people have, at the very least, 2 choices from opposite ends of the spectrum: a hard core protocol that has been reliably proven to produce the desired results as advertised for those who follow the directions as directed; a kinder, gentler, softer, easier-to-stomach protocol that might or might not produce the same caliber of beneficial results, might make the existing situation (congested Liver/Gallbladder pathways) worse...or better, flip a coin and take your chances, but either way, stands a better chance of going easier on people with delicate constitutions.
