Hi Jenchyna,      I was thinking the same thing I was on levlen for years before mirena and had no  problems with it the doctor gave me a prescriiption for it but i just havnt taken it yet after what i went through with the mirena and still am ive been just to scared too , but maybe it will help to sort our hormones out i just dont know i might give it a try
