MSG and its lesser known "free glutamate" is dangerous and must be
further regulated. Please take the time to do the independent research -
do not rely on the FDA, USDA or EPA to make that determination. Any food
product with "free glutamate" must be labeled as such.
The report, THE
TOXICITY/SAFETY OF PROCESSED FREE GLUTAMIC ACID (MSG): A STUDY IN
SUPPRESSION OF INFORMATION Adrienne Samuels 850 DeWitt Place, Chicago,
IL 60611, USA
is available for you to read online now at
http://www.truthinlabeling.org/l-manuscript.html it is shocking. It is
amazing that the FDA felt compelled to write a rebutal, MSG: A Common
Flavor Enhancer by Michelle Meadows in the FDA Consumer magazine
January-February 2003, but has not taken the effort to simply require this
to be labled. The funny thing is the 'prose' given to us by Ms. Meadows
contains a basic scientific error - right in the first paragraph! She
states that
Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) is Made by a fermentation process - when the most common
method is BACTERIAL fermentation patented by Ajinomoto!
These government groups are not taking this hidden epidemic seriously, I
ask that you do. Rising health care costs, the self employed not being to
afford health insurance, and needless suffering can be
halted now. A great resource for you to begin would be the non-profit

I hope for your support, now.
