Day 22 - yesterday was 21 days


I am doing fine. I actually have had a lot of energy lately and I find myself bored because I have so much pent up energy.

The last 2 nights I was over at my friend's house and cooked dinner for everyone. My friend was coaching her daughter's soft ball team, but I noticed out of the 3 other adults in the house, no one was wondering about dinner. So I looked around and scrapped up what I could to make something descent. Monday night, it was tuna cassole and fried potatoes, since there are alot of picky people in the house, I knew that everyone liked fried potatoes.

Since there was no milk, no bread and very little butter and had to make do. They have tons of hotdogs, but I couldn't make mac and cheese or anything that could go with the hotdogs. I would have loved to make pigs in a blanket with a lot of those hotdogs. Last night I found some frozen pork ribs and made pork ribs and potatoes. I put the meat and layed with with potatoes and more meat and so on. I made a special baking dish of just potatoes, sprinkled with cheese and they went the quickest. I think I did well. Everyone liked it especially there are so many picky people in the house, they were very plain, which just a touch of seasoning. I really enjoyed cooking for others. Since I live alone, I miss cooking for my family, as I did when I lived at home. I was not tempted to taste anything, but it smelled great and I knew everthing was ok when I dished it out. I really want to go over and cook tonight as well, but I have to work my 2nd job and it will be too late to do so. I just wonder if anyone is going to cook in the house. They usually just stick everything in the microwave.

No one questioned me not eating. I told them I was not hungry, because I had been cooking. LOL

My ketones are still high and once in a great while I feel nauseous if I haven't had anything to drink for a couple hours. But other then that, I am doing fine.

I had trouble sleeping last night. My body just didn't want to relax. I tossed and turned until I finally fell asleep, but I dont' know when.

I still have been walking alot, probably more so since I have so much energy. I need to get a bike that I can ride so I can work out my muscles that way.

I hope everyone is doing well in their fasts. It isn't always easy to fast, but it is benefitual for your body and mind when you do so. YOU CAN do it!
