Re: Question about fasting until completion? (EDIT)
Hi ohjacqui.
Congratulations for lasting 22 days, I don’t think I could go anywhere near that far. I’m only on day 6.
Interestingly, I was going through all the foods in my mind that I used to eat to see how I felt about them. Fortunately I haven’t eaten any junk food for years, just way too heavy on the carbohydrates.
However, whilst I felt comfortable with almost everything I have been eating, there was just one thing that made me feel ill when I thought about them. I was eating these so called healthy soya sausages from the supermarket for several years, mainly due to laziness; just pop them in the oven for ten minutes. I always had my doubts about them.
Interestingly, some time back my oven broke so I couldn’t cook them any more. I didn’t bother replacing the oven, just relied on my gas hob, so they were off the menu. I do believe in divine intervention and have always received help during my life. Who knows?
But just thinking about them now is really making me feel sick.
So for me there is loads of benefit in fasting even if you don’t follow through to completion. Trust your intuition and avoid all those nasty foods if you can.
Felicitaciones otra vez y tienen un día encantador.
Sweet feelings from Michael.
EDIT: Just read that report (Carrington) about fasting to completion and it makes a lot of sense. Encouraging thing for me is that hunger can come back within a few days. Sooner the better for me.
