Re: Hi Bob...
Schulze recommends going right to IF2 if you have IBS. I liked the ingredients in IF1 for healing the gut and bowel and started with one of those. I had always been 'regular' but used the 1 to get to 3x per day! As I stated before - don't jump to 2 or 3 pills, follow the 1 per day adding 1 per day as needed. I know a few who said, oh hell I'm taking 3......and they were running for public bathrooms!
I also did the 5 day 5x IF2 routine. It was very soothing. Forces you to drink all this water (that you should be drinking anyway) and really makes you feel good. It is during that time that you may need IF1 even if you had had loose bowels as the clay may bind some people.
In addition to IBS I had leaky gut. Verfied by a Great Smokies lab report and also by this anecdotal evidence: I would flush and get hot in the face after taking a teaspon of acidophilus. I attributed this to the leak allowing the acidophilus right into my blood stream. After finding
Dr. Schulze and doing his routines, I can take a tablespoon+ of acidophilus and no flushing whatsoever.
I was first put on Bentyl for IBS. I weaned off and used metamucil nightly - which worked pretty well but if I slacked - back came pain and loose bowels. Since adding IF1 &2, along with juice, cayenne and lobelia along with apple cider vinegar - knock on wood, no problemo. I can even take a weekend or a vacation off with no ill gut effects!
HTH - let us know, _BOB
