Hemmorhoids

A good friend of ours is suffering horribly from hemmorhoids..hope I spelled that right.
I was reading through the hemmorhoid forum last night, didn't know there was one here on CZ...and found an herbal product that is supposed to help dissolve the blood clots associated with the internal ones.

I don't know that much about them, other than they are very painful. Other than adding more fiber to his diet, drinking more water, and they said trying to get some exercise..what can be done for them--surgery sounds horrible and not successful, and expensive.

AND...what about parasites with hemmorhoids? I was reading where Glaxony thought her hemmorhoids and a bad case of pinworms went together.

What about him doing the Schultze bowel products or something on that order? Maybe after using the herbals to try to get less blood/clots in the veins/arteries around that area? It sounds like having bowel movements would be very painful.

The product we ordered for him last night, after reading through the H forum, was called Calmovil.

He spends his time on a tractor, or riding a horse for work. ouch.

OH, and I had read where drinking a tea by simmering sliced up ginger root, and adding 1 tsp of sugar and drinking it every morning is supposed to help. ?
