I hope you are getting just how serious mold problems can be from the various postings here. On a scale from one to ten on just how serious this situation can be, I would give it a 9. I would give asbestos an 8 so you have a frame of reference. Don't fool yourself into thinking "just how bad could this be anyway", because let me assure you mold has ruined many peoples lives. You must proceed with extreme caution.
