bin Laden ruse continues: Pakistan "US can't hunt here"

Franky, I am surprised that the media is still going through the motions of helping to prop up the notion that the US was ever genuinely interested in hunting Osama Bin Laden. Between chummy hospital visits by the CIA just prior to 911, and the red carpet service provided by the White House while escorting the Bin Laden clan and their attendant entourage out of D.C. ..... during the days of 911 ...... while late-breaking 911 events were breaking at the speed of the monopolized media's capacity for reporting them ..... that dog clearly was never designed to hunt in the first place. It seems more likely that in the event the US ever manages to bump into bin Laden again, it will be for the purpose of kissing his a$$. Maybe the CBS news desk was having an exceptionally slow news transition from Saturday to Sunday. Oh well, anyone so minded can find a story to read all about it here.

Speaking of slow news days, lets see what CBS had cooking between late Saturday and early Sunday. Oh, look, GW Dumbo is blaming soaring gas prices on Congress' failure to allow him and his controllers to hunt for oil in still unsullied US locales and possessions. I'm sensing a hunting theme here in this moment of transitional news reporting. CBS is hunting for news to report. The US is hunting for something - man, beast or other, that might make it look good by way of reported news. Frankly I'm a bit surprised to hear tell that there still are to be found lands not yet sullied by the US, be they mainland, Alaska, offshore or other. Oh well, anyone so minded can find a story to read all about it here.

Speaking of hunts while speaking of thing sullied, I'm not convinced that Congress does not own some blame in all this high-priced gas noise. I suspect they may be found going through the motions of hunting for their moral compass and still doing a bang up job of not finding it, with both hands, all the while re presenting the people, ostensibly. Hmmm, I wonder where the average people might be found in all of this, and what, pray tell, might they be found hunting for? Oh, wait, it's Sunday.... the alternative day of rest, to be kept holy .... for at least an hour or two, followed by an afternoon's worth of serious channel surfing, couch side, hunting for one's intellect ..... opinion..... mind, whatever might titillate it on a sun day.... and other news & information. It would not surprise me to be told that the people at large, as sampled by the latest opinion shaping poll out there, have fallen for this "gas prices are high 'cause we don't have enough gas to pump, therefore we need to drill!" story. That dog don't hunt neither and has already been reported here in spades within the last month or Hey, look!. Agnelina Jolie just hatched twins ..... Knox Leon and Vi vienne Mar che line....? Oy, some people and the names they saddle their children with. Oh well, for those so minded, here is a story to read all about that.
