Re: Balancing Calcium and Magnesium

Well you caught me ,I have never used magnesium chloride! I never felt the need to, plenty of chlorides in my diet! Sodium chloride ,potassium chloride etc. and there seems to be an abundance of it in many products on the store shelves that many have consumed most of their lives, at least until that day when they decided to take control of their own lives !
Chloride is a needed mineral Im not going to attempt to discredit it except the fact that long term over use will cause acidity! And its benefits are short term because of this fact.
The biggest factor I have in preferring mag/sulphate is the outstanding results I experienced years ago from its use! Total relief of constipation, relief from leg cramps , eyelid spasms or twitching, heart palpitations and migraine headaches! Although these are symptoms dealing with magnesium deficiencies, sulfate assisted in its ability to help the body digest incomplete proteins ! Non protein nitrogen or nitrates which help create these symptoms or ailments in themselves and are in almost any low brix(low quality) food one may consume!

Cost may be negligable in the case of the baths comparing Epsom Salts and oils even though it may be nickels and dimes and the difference between writing out a check for fifty to a hundred dollars compared to one dollar at the dollar store that many frequent often enough to erase any postage or handling charges and having immediate availability! These things are trivial but many on fixed or low incomes do count nickels and dimes! They add up also if one prefers many other high priced mail order supplements over affordable and "locally" available products!
However the transdermal patches which are very costly and the oils can be made at home easily with creams and large bandaids as the link supplied below discusses !
MSM an organic sulpfur vs the sulphate is I suppose a debatable subject as far as the subject of organic verses inorganic (which is a misnomer as far as Im concerned) is a debate for those who would challenge the large body of work from Nobel price winner Linus Pauling who asserts that a molecule is a molecule!
MSM, another cash output is still in a sulfur form a form unusable and a form some are unable to convert to the usable form of sulphate, a no brainer to me!
My references are minimal,I apologize but its saturday and its not raining I prefer to be outside today! I appreciate your sincerity, sorry if I offended but I do beleive this forum is heavy on the side of all the other mag compounds and even the title of the forum diminishes the value and benefits of magnesium Sulphate! I do not beleive the low life product found on the shelves of hardware stores grocers and pharmacies that comes in the handy milk type container is inferior in any way to these other products!
Is it superior ??? Maybe!
