Find local fruits and veggies on the internet!

I just want to post these two links:

http://www.PickYourOwn.org

http://www.localharvest.org

This can be a good way to locate fresh fruits and vegetables other people have grown near you. The first is for places to pick your own food, particularly berries. You can save money by picking your own; for example, blueberries are $7-$10/gallon, and I pick extra to freeze for the coming year. The berries were not sprayed and grown with an organic method (although not certified organic).

I have been to two nearby places to pick blueberries from the former website, and also discovered a delightful little local weekend farmer's market on the latter.

Of course, if you are growing extra and would like to sell it, you might want to add yourself to one or both of these sites.

Happy Harvesting!
